Shane and India have the Jan-March track off for school and will be living in the most adorable cabin in Driggs Idaho during those months. We are way happy about it because that means that we will spent a LOT of time in Driggs through the winter and hopefully hit up Targhee for some skiing and snowboarding. This is a picture of Cody and me at a mom and pop type place in Driggs, Can I say YUUUMM! The food was divine! haha.... Our adorable friends Shane and India Humphreys. Shane and his buddy have a way cool business (The have cool wood iPhone covers.) that he will be working with and India will be working for Targhee in one of the restaurants at the resort.

~*KeRbY cHrIsTmAs PaRtY*~
Cody, Ruger and I were able to go down to Utah this weekend for the Kerby family Christmas party, we had a really good turn out and a great time. It was good to see everyone again and catch up. We had the party out in Genola at the church and it was so great to be back there again, I have forgotten how peaceful and beautiful it is, Cody loved it there and said that if we ever had to live in Utah he wanted to live there. haha... Here are some pictures from the weekend. This is when Santa came and gave all the little kids gifts. Our little family haha... Look how beautiful it is out there!!

~*I Just Love The Feeling...*~
"I love to see the Temple, I'm going there someday" Those words were always extremely special to me when I was growing up, and I Love To See the Temple was and still continues to be my favorite primary hymn. Since moving to Rexburg it has been so nice to have the temple right up the road from us, Cody and I have made it a priority to go weekly to do sessions, and I can not believe how much it has impacted our lives, we have been so blessed and are so happy! I love the feeling that you get while inside the temple walls, it is definitely unforgettable and irreplaceable, the spirit is so sweet and subtle and touches your heart and makes you feel amazing. I am so happy that I have the opportunity to go to the temple every week with my awesome husband and feel the spirit and gain further knowledge about my heavenly father and our savior Jesus Christ. *sigh* I just love the feeling I get from the temple.

I am SO lucky!
Cody and me have been together for almost three and a half years now and we are still very much in love. Throughout my life I had always been a daddy's girl so it wasn't to much of a shocker when I told EVERYONE that I wanted a man that could fill my dad's shoes, thinking all along that such a man didn't exist because up until three and a half years ago my dad was the most amazing man that I have ever known (And is still tied for first on my list). He taught me to be kind and caring, he taught me to work hard and the power of a great example, He strengthened my testimony of the savior and our wonderful gospel. He always made time to take me out on our daddy daughter dates and actually listened to my beyond ridiculous stories about this and that in high school (everything is so much more dramatic when you are a teenager) and was genuinely interested in what I had to say. My dad is awesome at looking at every angle of a situation ( I guess that is why he is so successful in life) and would always give me the best advice from a view point that I would have never even thought of. My dad is my hero if you cant tell and I can write a 50 page blog dedicated to just him. I have so much respect for him and the man that he is. That is why I consider my self the luckiest girl alive because I have an awesome husband who loves me and has managed to fill my dads shoes quite nicely. Cody is wonderful, he is my big teddy bear that I have the opportunity to live with, He is such a great people person (He definitely gets that from his mom and dad, they rock) everyone and I do mean EVERYONE that meets Cody loves him automatically. He is funny and laid back (unless he gets towed from Jones apartment, then he goes a little coo coo.) he has an extremely great testimony of the gospel and our savior. He works his tail off to be the best at everything he does, I think that is why he does so well with fishing and hunting. He is one heck of an athlete if you don't believe me ask anyone in the Boise area that was around when he played ball and they will tell you that he was one of the best basketball players to ever play in the state of Idaho. He also has a heart of gold and a sensitive side (shhh don't tell him that I told you ;) ) he is very loving and caring and likes to welcome people into his groups. Cody and my dad are one in the same and I love them both so much. I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to find a man that could fill my papa's shoes. Cody, even though I know that you wont read this because your not into the whole blog thing, I want you to know that I love you so much and am so happy we found each other. This is Cody the summer that we met, As you can see he is perfect! And funny.....
*Summer Happenings*
During Cody's 7 week break from school we managed to find a lot to keep us busy. We vacationed with both my family, and Cody's. Cody was a groomsman for one of his best friends from childhood while I did his beautiful brides hair and makeup. Cody shot an elk that will keep us happy with meat for at least a year. And we still had time to do our normal hikes, camping trips and swimming with friends. This is a picture of Shane and India, they are so adorable together. Shane and Cody have been best friends since the 4th grade, so this was a really great day for us to be a part of. Another picture of the beautiful couple.
This is Cody with his elk, last year while hunting Cody shot at a elk and it got away so he was determined not to let that happen again. He worked his tail off practicing shooting with his bow from different distances. If anyone deserved to get a great elk like this it is definitely him. We are so blessed that he was able to get this elk so we will not have to worry about buying meat. fun fact: Did you know that elk meat is actually more lean and has less fat then chicken? Crazy eh....
At the end of September my mom and I went to San Francisco where we did all of the fun touristy things. We went and hung out at Pier 39, took a tour of Alcatraz, we had a city tour and we also drove to Napa Valley to see all of the vineyards. We had a great time and it was really nice to spend some girl time with my mom.
This is me in one of the cells at Alcatraz...
Cody me and our friend all made a trip out to this place called Monkey Rock, it is outside of rexburg. Way pretty but kind of boring. haha...
Earlier in the summer we decided to go camping at Cliff and Wade lake outside to Island Park.
This is a picture of Dan (Cody's cousin) Cody and Jones waiting to go on the rope swing.
Ok this is seriously the funnest thing in the world to do when you go boating!!! Surfing!!! If you haven't tried it yet I highly recommend it! We had a blast and cant wait to do it again. Cody couldn't find his swim trunks so he borrowed a super old pair of his dads, they were a little bit shorter and it drove Cody crazy so to be funny he decided to roll them up even shorter to show off his white legs haha...

Cody's NASTY leg! : (
Last Wednesday Cody's intramural softball team played a game and were given new rules, one of the new rules was that you had to slide into home if it was going to be close. So Cody gets up to bat and launches the ball way into the out field and took off running around the bases, as he headed toward home plate he had to slide because it was going to be a close call. Cody had his favorite pair of basketball shorts on that night and all that went through his head as he started to slide was "I don't want to ruin my shorts" so instead of sliding into home like a normal person would he tucked his leg under his but to insure that he didn't ruin his shorts and this was the outcome.... Now Cody being the tough guy that he is decided not to go into the doctor right away to make sure that it wasn't infected. instead he wanted to wait it out to see if it would heal on it's own. BAD IDEA!!! He got a REALLY bad infection and by Saturday his whole leg was swollen from his knee down and his leg hurt so bad that he could hardly stand to walk. So Monday afternoon Cody finally went into the doctor and they gave him some antibiotic shots and a prescription to take some pills for the next ten days. He went into the doctors for his second shot today and his doctor told him that if he would have left his infection for another week it could have spread into his bone, and he could have had to go to the ER for surgery....SCARY!! Needless to say I am SO happy that we took him in and hopefully it will get better soon!!

*Weekend in Pocatello*
This weekend Cody and me had the opportunity to go to Pocatello with our friends the Jones's. The Jones family had planned a surprise birthday party for their dads 60th birthday, we had a nice bbq in the park and got to chat with everyone and hangout with the kids. It was a really great weekend and we had a lot of fun seeing everyone!
This picture is of Cody and me at the park waiting for the birthday boy! : ) Cody, "goose" and Clair

Rexburg!!
I have finally been reunited with my cute husband Cody!(about 2 weeks ago) It is so GREAT!! I have missed him like crazy and am so happy that we can be together again. Cody is always insanely busy with homework while I have been busy looking for a job. Even though we are super busy we still find time to hang out with friends and go for hikes. Rexburg is beautiful, and I have loved being here...so far... haha This picture below is of Cody and me and our friends Shane and India, we went and watched Cody's cousin sing in a school competition. We have found out that Ruger is quite the out door nut and LOVES to go on hikes with us! We Hike about 5 for 6 miles every weekend and love it!
