A little Late...

On December 30th 2009 Sterling went into the MTC to prepare for his mission. He was called to the Guatemala Guatemala north mission. I was able to barrow the mortensens memory card to post these pictures on here today. Sterling is going to be the most amazing missionary.

It's a perfect day to be a princess : )

Today while Cody's parents were at a wedding I gave Cody's sister Sheridan and her friend Anica a royal makeover. It was so much fun! I started out putting a little bit of blush and eyeshadow on them and then finished the face with some "super sparkly lip gloss" (said by both girls) they were so funny talking about how pretty they looked. I loved it. I decided to put some ringlets in their hair and they kept referring to each other as Shirley temple (Anica) and Goldie locks (Sheridan). After the hair and makeup was done they went and put some princess dresses on with my high heels, I announced them at the top of the stairs to Cody and they came down loving the whistles that Cody gave them. haha... It was a really fun morning! This is one with me and the girls : ) Oh by the way my hair is dark now.

I love this boy!

Cody and me before we took off for the day. He referred to me as his beautiful princess, it made me feel pretty. : )

This is just a hair picture so everyone can see it. : )

Sorry...

So a lot of things have been going on in our lives lately (reason for not writing) Cody and me are moving to Montana for a while and then hopefully headed to Rexburg to BYU-I! Cody wants to finish up his Biology degree and then apply to medical school. While I on the other hand will be finishing up my nursing degree and support us through the long road we have ahead of us!! We are doing extremely well and cant wait to see what the future has in store for us. : ) This is a picture of Cody and me on our way to church a couple of Sundays ago.
Our failed attempt at a family picture... Thanks Ruger.

This was my niece Aisha on Halloween, her and Sheridan are obsessed with The Wizard of Oz and wanted to dress up as the characters on the movie. Aisha was suppose to be the tin man but as soon as she saw Sheridan put her costume on as Dorothy Aisha decided she wanted to be Dorothy Gale too, so this is the costume that was put together about 20 minutes before they went trick or treating.

Weekend in Salt Lake

I had the most AMAZING weekend! I was fortunate to go down to Utah for my best friend Kris Hymas farewell. She is going to Guatemala City South mission and couldn't be happier. Kris and I met playing volleyball at SLCC and immediately became close and she became a great example for me in my life. She was always a natural leader and so strong and encouraging to me and others she has such a beautiful testimony and love for the gospel anyone that knew her knew that she would be extraordinary things. That is how I know that she will be a great missionary and I am so excited for her!
Mary Stosich is one of the most amazing women that I have ever met! She really helped Kris and I both during hard times while in Salt Lake. She was a great example and I will be forever grateful to her. Kris and I went to see her and ended up staying at her house talking and laughing for about three hours. It was so much fun! I hope to see her again soon. By the way she has a book out at Desseret Book that you can buy, it's called "The Diamond Within" and is really good and inspirational, you should get it! :)
This is at Kris's house after she gave her farewell talk in church. It is so weird to think that I haven't seen some of these girls for about two years. The one on your left is Shay she was my coach at SLCC and is now the head coach at BYU, The adorable girl next to her was a teammate of mine, her name is Shanda and she just got married last Saturday so it was fun to catch up with her, then Kris, and me and Katy, she also played at SLCC for a year, she is so stinking cute and has the most adorable son I have ever seen. He is four months old, can you believe that she has a four month old? She looks AWESOME for just having a baby!
This was right before my mom and me took off... and right before the tears started for Kris and me. It was such a great weekend and I am so happy for Kris and so grateful to my mom for driving down with me.
While I was down in Utah Cody had to stay in La Grande because he had a game : ( It was just an Alumni game but I was still sad to miss it. From what I've heard he kicked some butt! So I cant wait to watch him in their first tourney next weekend! I will keep you updated! :)

La Grande : )

Sorry that it has taken a while Cody and I moved to La Grande for school and we haven't had a lot of time, nor have we had very good internet connection.
Cody is playing basketball for the Mountaineers for the next two seasons, we are both very excited! He loves his teammates and school already and cant wait until they start playing games.

This is his team picture:
He is so cute : ) We took a hike to this beautiful lake and while I was looking around I came back to this, Cody and Ruger cuddled up taking a nap under a tree...

Ruger and me posed for a picture before we took off...

West Yellowstone

Ah West Yellowstone! Cody's family and his uncles family have been coming to the same cabin in West Yellowstone since the summer before Cody's Junior year of high school. So lucky for me they still have kept that family tradition. My first time there was last summer and we had a blast, I was able to get better aquainted with his side of the family and he was able to do his favorite thing ever FISH... haha...

This year we explored a TON and went into town, where we pigged out on the BEST ice cream I have ever tasted and shopped around for fun stuff. We also watched a live musical play of "Foot Loose" at West Yellowstones Playmill. But dont worry Cody still got some fishing in too ;) One of our many adventures!

I had to put this on here just because he is so stinkin cute!

A grizzly!! Creepy that were were able to get as close as we did!
