Easter and Florida trip 2012!!

Easter this year was spent back in Boise with our families, we had such a great time spending time with everyone and cant wait for Cody to get done with school so we can see our families more often!!

This is the Easter basket that I got for Cody. We have a new candy store here in Rexburg that sells candy from Australia so I was able to buy Cody some Tim Tam's, black liquorice and Ginger beer that he use to eat all the time on his mission. I also got him his favorite American candy such as Reece's snickers and jelly beans. (yes I did get ruger a basket too, I just didn't take pictures of it. haha...)

 Cute little Daylie! She had the hardest time keeping those eggs in her basket because she wanted to sprint all over the place. So finally she had her mom Chelise guard the basket while she ran all over finding eggs. lol...

 After spending a little bit of time in Boise I flew with my parents to Florida to assist Teryn on her move back to Idaho. We had a really good time with each other and after 4 days in the car together I now appreciate what mom's go through with their kids. Oh boy....

 One of our beach days!! It was so beautiful there and so warm! I miss it already, especially because I woke up to snow this morning in Rexburg! Kill me! I love this picture of Teryn she is so gorgeous!

 The usual belly pic when your prego. I am now almost 31 weeks so close to 8 months along! It is so weird! I have just started to show and pop out the past few weeks so that has been a different experience for me, but it has been so fun at the same time. I am just glad that she is growing and healthy. Oh and for those of you who think that I am to obsessed with my body and that I haven't gained enough weight for my baby I will have you know that I have gained 17 pounds so far and am right on track. I'm 6'1" people I have a lot of body for my weight to go to so get over it!

 We went to the cutest zoo in the world! I loved it because it was so hands on! we were able to hand feed a lot of the animals, and go in to the bird cage and have them hang out all over you.

 We celebrated Russ's bday while we were in Florida and took him to dinner at Rodezio Grill

 We had one more beach day while in Florida and poor abby decided to wake up with a fever :( So Teryn and my dad took her to the doctor to get some medicine while Claira my mom and I went to the beach to play. Claira and I found a million little sea snails and she was so sad when she couldn't take them home with her. haha...

 When we left Florida on our LONG drive back to Idaho we stopped in Texarkana for a couple of days to visit with some old friends. It was so nice to see everyone and catch up.

 We ate at this super good catfish place that had a swamp in the front yard and peacocks running around all over the place! Claira LOVED it.

 Claira and her new friend Savannah. It took them about 5 minutes to warm up to each other and then they were inseparable.

 On our trip this little lady had an allergic reaction to her antibiotics and got hives all over her body so she screamed pretty much the whole third day of driving. We felt so bad for her but luckily teryn was able to give her some benadryl and get her a nice long sleep so that the last leg of our trip she was happy for the most part. This was in Pocatello where they dropped me off to be picked up by Cody. I love her little "hoo" hair.

 And last but not least our sweet little Claira! Claira LOVED the mountains and talked about how pretty and neat they were from the first time she saw them in Colorado until we got home. She is going to go on a lot of hikes with uncle Cody and me this summer!

Ok well that is it! We had a great trip spent time with some wonderful people and my dad made it 4 whole days being completely out numbered 5 to 1 with us ladies! I hope everyone has a great weekend! Take care.

Almost 28 weeks! (7Months)

It is hard to believe that I am almost 7 months preggers with our little lady. I am so happy and cant wait to see our baby girl in a couple of months. :)

11 Random things:
1. I have a dog named Ruger that I refer to as my baby boy. People ask if I have kids and 90% of the time I just say yes, a boy.
2. I have this crazy obsession with the cooking channel. I couldn’t cook if my life depended on it but I like to watch other people make beautiful plates of food. Maybe one day…
3. I modeled professionally for 6 years, a lot of traveling. Wow I can’t believe that I just put that on here.
4. I love to read sappy romance novels on rainy/snowy days.
5. I played on nationally ranked club and college volleyball teams.
6. My eyes can’t decide what color they would like to be. They change from Green, to Blue to Gray?? Gray… Really? Yuck…
7. If given the choice I would much rather die from being to hot than to cold. I hate cold weather so much (So naturally I chose to live in Rexburg Idaho… Kill me now.)
8. I run for MILES when I have a lot on my mind. Literally I don’t realize how far I ran until I go back and clock it.
9. I not so secretly wanted to marry someone who was tall with dark skin, hair and eyes and had an accent. Oh my goodness accents are so sexy!
10. I want to travel the world more than anything.
11. I get stir crazy living in one place for to long. After 2 or 3 years I am ready for a change.

1. Who is your inspiration and why? My momma and daddy! It’s no secret that I have always been a daddy’s girl but seriously my dad is the most amazing person I have ever known. He is so willing to look outside of himself and his own needs In order to help and serve others. He always puts 100% into any of his church callings and lives his life in a way that he can be proud of in the end. My mom is a little spit fire who isn’t fake at all. She knows exactly who she is and doesn’t try to pretend to be something that she isn’t so that people like her. She works so hard in everything that she does and I am so proud to have such a beautiful woman be my role model.

2. If you could live anywhere, where would that place be? Kalokairi Greece. Have you ever seen Momma Mia?? Watch it and you would want to live there too.

3. If you had to pick a new name (and you have to) what would it be? Bobbie or Danni I have always loved those names for a girl.
4. So you have anamorph powers (meaning you can transform yourself into an animal whenever you choose) what animal can you morph into? A Bald Eagle! Hands down!! They are so beautiful and I have always wanted to fly.

5. Favorite dish? Hmmm… I have no idea haha… I’ve been really into Peanut butter and Jelly sandwiches since I got pregnant?

6. If you could play a part in any movie every made, what character would you be? Kate Hudson in “How to Lose a Guy in 10 days.” I love her job, her clothes her attitude and her sexy co-star. I think that it would be so funny to act the way she acted. 

7. What do you struggle with? I have a really messed up self body image.

8. Dream vacation? Autrailia? Ummm.. YES PLEASE!

9. Tell me one of your most vivid childhood memories? (preferably funny) Oy… Just one??? Haha… Well it all started out on a dark and very stormy night in Genola UT my Older sister was left in charge of my little brother and I while my parents went to dinner and a movie. We all got along pretty good, teryn was the bossy one I was the quiet one while garret was the mischievous one. Garret and I had been down in the basement watching Hercules or Spartacus or something while teryn was off doing her own thing upstairs. Like I said it was a super bad stormy night and I was scared to death because of the thunder and lightning so I decided to go upstairs with my sister and left my little brother downstairs by himself. When BANG there was a huge crash of lightning and thunder outside and all of our power went out, Garret being the little tuff guy that he thought he was came upstairs out of the pitch black basement and started “hunting” for whoever was in the house. He snuck into his room and armed himself with what every 2 year old thinks is the best weapon and can do the most destruction, a glow in the dark lunch box. I was in our living room making ghost noises trying to scare my little brother when I stood up on the couch and hear this war cry running down the hall towards me, seeing the perfectly outlined glow in the dark thunder cats lunch box held up in the air, I started to giggle when I noticed that the lunch box was getting closer and closer and boom it hit me next to my left eyeball. He had thrown the lunch box in the direction of the noses he heard and hit me square in the face by my eye, my sister walked us to my grandmas house in the dark and my grandma saw that I was bleeding really badly, so she took me to the ER and sure enough I had to get stitched up and sent home to deal with the parents. Lol… I still have a small scar next to my left eye where I had my stitches.

10. If you were forced to live in another time period what would it be? I have always been fascinated by the time when the women wore beautiful gowns and they had balls, and everyone rode in carriages. As long as I could have been wealthy back then and able to attend all of the beautiful balls and parties.

11. Which Disney Princess are you and why? I’m not sure if she was a princess, but I would choose to be Mulan! I love the person that she is and the strength that she has to save her country from destruction, while at the same time protecting her father, and she has like the coolest horse, lucky cricket, and dragon with little man syndrome ever! Bottom line she kicks butt and I want to be her!

What is she going to look like??

It hasn't even been a week since I found out the sex of my baby girl but it has been driving me insane trying to figure out what she is going to look like?! I found a bunch of pictures of me when I was a baby and a young girl so I thought I would share those with you. I don't have any pictures of Cody here in Rexburg so next time im at home I will be able to make some copies of his pictures to put on here. :)

Valentines Day

Cody and I haven't had the best of luck onValentine's day for the past 5 years that we have been together. Our first Valentines day Cody was in AZ working for his uncle while I was stuck in ID. Although when he got home from AZ a few weeks later we celebrated it then and that was also the night that we got engaged, so we made up for it. Then Our first Vday as a married couple was spent apart he was playing college basketball and had an away game so I spent vday with my lovely family that had come to visit us is Gresham. Our second Vday as a married couple I thought for sure would be the ONE that we went on a nice date and had Cody and me time, but nope! haha... Didn't happen Cody's sister went into labor with her second baby girl on Feb 12th so the next few days including vday were spent ohhhing and ahhhing over the new baby and spending time with family. Then last year rolls around, I had started working in the hospital about 4months or so before vday and I was so happy and proud of myself because I hadn't gotten sick yet, until the day before and the day of vday, I was sicker than a dog with one bug or another! BLAH!! To make things worse Cody had class and was only able to come home every now and then to check on me and make sure I was still alive and then would have to leave again.
needless to say we haven't been very lucky on the day of looovvee until this year! No one was sick, or in labor, or out of town, it was just me and Cody and absolutely perfect!

 Cody was an all star bball player all through high school, and that didn't change once he was in college. His team was awesome and ended up doing very well that season. :) 2009

 This was what Cody got me from Great Harvest, I couldn't eat it for a few days, but it was well worth the wait once I was finally able to dig into it! 2011

 Valentines day 2012! I made cody a coupon book full of fun coupons for him to use throughout the year and got him a new map system for his hunting garmin, it has maps of ID, WY, and MT. He was so excited! Oh and I got him his favorite fruit snacks! Yum!!

 Boy oh boy does Cody know the way to my heart! I'm not a big gift person, I love  to give gifts but as far as receiving them people ask what I want for my bday or Christmas and I always shrug my shoulders and just reply I dunno?? If I really want something then I will save up the money and just buy it myself. So when Cody asked me what I wanted this year for Vday I responded as I normally do adding that all I ever want or need from him is a card. So this year he made me the best card I have ever received from anyone and got me a rose and some gum. I have this crazy obsession with fruit I could literally live off of fruit for the rest of my life so Cody made me the cute little heart you see above with raspberry's and blueberry's. Also I'm not a fan of chocolate at all, I never have been probably never will be, I am sour tangy candy all the way so of course cody got me some sour patch kids. :)

 Haha... We had planned on going out to a nice place in IF but as soon as we saw the new Chick-fil-A We knew we just had to get some nuggets from there! I was so happy with our decision, we didn't have to wait to be seated and then wait even longer to order and eat our food. Pure perfection!

 After eating our nuggets we went over to Cafe Rio to split a Tres Leches.... YUUUMMM!
