Oh boy I'm in love!

No, I am not trying to be a fashion blogger. I am just SO excited about my new Eddie Bauer sweater that came in the mail yesterday!! I am on Eddie Bauers email list thing and they always send me a lot of useless junk that I cant use, but last week I got $10.00 off my purchase plus an extra 20% off AND free shipping! YAY!! I was so stoked, I have been snuggled up in it all day and will probably wear it everyday from here on out! Love it! Take care! : )

~*WiShFuL tHiNkInG*~

I had a very strange dream last night, first of all I will start by saying that I HATE being cold and I am not "diggin" all the snow that Rexburg seems to be dishing out.

I dreamt that Rexburg went from 20 to 80 degrees over night, and because we already have like 10 feet of snow it melted to quickly creating a huge flood and people had to swim in the streets

(as if they were cars, on both sides of the road) to get to their destinations, everyone was happy and we were all nice to one another I LOVED it. So when I woke up this morning and put Ruger on his leash to take him outside to do his business I was hoping that by some miracle I would be greeted by the hot sun and people swimming around in flood water. but nooooo I walk outside and about freeze my tush off as I behold fresh snow on the ground, and a very steady flow of snowflakes from the skies above me! Ugh!! This Texas girl is ready for the snow to be gone and warm weather to move in, practical? No way! Wishful thinking? Most definitely!: (

Darn you Rexburg and your 9 month winters!! haha... I'm so over it!

Our weekend in the snow, sledding and making our she/man snowman!

Sorry that it has been a while since I have updated my blog! We have been pretty buys!
Last weekend we decided to take a little trip over to the sand dunes to go sledding! Cody and I tried to remember the last time that we had actually gone sledding, and we both decided that it had been YEARS (we had definitely never gone together)! So we drove our little booties over the Big 5 and bought a 12 dollar sled and were off to the sand dunes! We had such a great time just hanging out with each other, weekends are heaven for us because during the week Cody LIVES at the Library (Science major) and I work so it is nice to take a breather and just be with my cute hubby! Cody also brought his snowboard with him, it was really funny to watch him go down the hills with ruger running his little heart out trying to attack the snowboard barking the whole way down lol...
I love this man SO very much. He always puts a big smile on my face.

Like the title of this post says we built ourselves a really BIG snowman! I left Cody for seriously 2 minutes so I could break some branches and bark off of a tree and as I am walking back over to him he has this huge mischievous smile on his face (he thinks he is so funny) and I look at the snow man and realise that it was more of a she/man snowman. Like I said Cody definitely knows how to make me laugh.

We had SO much fun!!
The End!

Weekend in Driggs with our friends!

Shane and India have the Jan-March track off for school and will be living in the most adorable cabin in Driggs Idaho during those months. We are way happy about it because that means that we will spent a LOT of time in Driggs through the winter and hopefully hit up Targhee for some skiing and snowboarding. This is a picture of Cody and me at a mom and pop type place in Driggs, Can I say YUUUMM! The food was divine! haha.... Our adorable friends Shane and India Humphreys. Shane and his buddy have a way cool business (The have cool wood iPhone covers.) that he will be working with and India will be working for Targhee in one of the restaurants at the resort.
They have a hot tub!! YAY!!! There is nothing better then to sit in a super nice hot tub when there is about a foot of snow on the ground!

Cody took this picture of me before we got in the hot tub, I was wearing this swim suit the day I met Cody and he is obsessed with it! So he took a bunch of pictures of me in it that night haha... Nerd! : )

Cody, Ruger and I were able to go down to Utah this weekend for the Kerby family Christmas party, we had a really good turn out and a great time. It was good to see everyone again and catch up. We had the party out in Genola at the church and it was so great to be back there again, I have forgotten how peaceful and beautiful it is, Cody loved it there and said that if we ever had to live in Utah he wanted to live there. haha... Here are some pictures from the weekend. This is when Santa came and gave all the little kids gifts. Our little family haha... Look how beautiful it is out there!!

Setting up for the party before everyone came, posing for a picture with my mom.

My cute hubby : )

My dad was decked out in all of his BSU stuff to piss all the Utah fans off haha... He thought he was pretty funny. Nerd : ) He also smoked ribs and brisket for the event. YUUUUMM!!

~*I Just Love The Feeling...*~

"I love to see the Temple, I'm going there someday" Those words were always extremely special to me when I was growing up, and I Love To See the Temple was and still continues to be my favorite primary hymn. Since moving to Rexburg it has been so nice to have the temple right up the road from us, Cody and I have made it a priority to go weekly to do sessions, and I can not believe how much it has impacted our lives, we have been so blessed and are so happy! I love the feeling that you get while inside the temple walls, it is definitely unforgettable and irreplaceable, the spirit is so sweet and subtle and touches your heart and makes you feel amazing. I am so happy that I have the opportunity to go to the temple every week with my awesome husband and feel the spirit and gain further knowledge about my heavenly father and our savior Jesus Christ. *sigh* I just love the feeling I get from the temple.

I am SO lucky!

Cody and me have been together for almost three and a half years now and we are still very much in love. Throughout my life I had always been a daddy's girl so it wasn't to much of a shocker when I told EVERYONE that I wanted a man that could fill my dad's shoes, thinking all along that such a man didn't exist because up until three and a half years ago my dad was the most amazing man that I have ever known (And is still tied for first on my list). He taught me to be kind and caring, he taught me to work hard and the power of a great example, He strengthened my testimony of the savior and our wonderful gospel. He always made time to take me out on our daddy daughter dates and actually listened to my beyond ridiculous stories about this and that in high school (everything is so much more dramatic when you are a teenager) and was genuinely interested in what I had to say. My dad is awesome at looking at every angle of a situation ( I guess that is why he is so successful in life) and would always give me the best advice from a view point that I would have never even thought of. My dad is my hero if you cant tell and I can write a 50 page blog dedicated to just him. I have so much respect for him and the man that he is. That is why I consider my self the luckiest girl alive because I have an awesome husband who loves me and has managed to fill my dads shoes quite nicely. Cody is wonderful, he is my big teddy bear that I have the opportunity to live with, He is such a great people person (He definitely gets that from his mom and dad, they rock) everyone and I do mean EVERYONE that meets Cody loves him automatically. He is funny and laid back (unless he gets towed from Jones apartment, then he goes a little coo coo.) he has an extremely great testimony of the gospel and our savior. He works his tail off to be the best at everything he does, I think that is why he does so well with fishing and hunting. He is one heck of an athlete if you don't believe me ask anyone in the Boise area that was around when he played ball and they will tell you that he was one of the best basketball players to ever play in the state of Idaho. He also has a heart of gold and a sensitive side (shhh don't tell him that I told you ;) ) he is very loving and caring and likes to welcome people into his groups. Cody and my dad are one in the same and I love them both so much. I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to find a man that could fill my papa's shoes. Cody, even though I know that you wont read this because your not into the whole blog thing, I want you to know that I love you so much and am so happy we found each other. This is Cody the summer that we met, As you can see he is perfect! And funny.....

Very strong and daring....

And a great friend to all....

I love you babe and I am so proud of all of your achievements! : )
